Lighting is the most overlooked topic — and the most common reason projects fail
- Bar light
- Raking light across a matt surface, so scratches show
- Dome light
- Glossy surfaces, kills point reflections

We design the lighting for every project and never rely on the factory's ambient light. If a client asks us to cut the lighting budget, we tell them plainly that it is the condition under which we cannot guarantee accuracy.
Enclosures and installation
IP rating
IP65 for a general factory · IP66 or better for field work · IP69K for hot high-pressure washdown areas
Heat management
A sealed enclosure in full sun can reach 60°C, so it needs a cooling plate or vortex cooler, and equipment rated for that range
Power
PoE for cameras · 24VDC for the processing box · a small UPS so data survives a power flicker
